Yarn bombing with a difference!

Seen in a cafe in Braemar, Aberdeenshire, proudly whimsical ...

He was made of knitted triangles stitched together over an authentic red deer stag's head. I especially enjoyed the bullfinch perched on his antlers!

And then there was the knitted haggis and her offspring outside the cafe, collecting for a local charity ...

Now I know what to do with leftover weaving yarn?

    1. Such fun indeed ... though when I told a friend (male) about it, a look of blind incomprehension crossed his face ... definitely a (female?) textile joke, I think!

    1. When I was teaching reading to those children who found it hard, we used a Scottish based reading scheme which has left me ever more fond of a good haggis!

    1. Eh bien, naïve, et pour moi, le bouvreuil sur le bois de cerf était la touche finale.
