Bridge images and translucency

A first attempt at combining abstract bridge images with stitch, this image was printed on paper and the free stitch completed on organza and then laid over the top.



Much work still to do but I think I can at last feel ideas stirring ...

    1. Very many thanks ... Floating seems appropriate to suggest water ... And as a contrast to the heavier shapes of the bridge structure

    1. Many thanks Sharron. Some progress with possible backgrounds this morning but a visit to my son to mind their children during a child-minding crisis has somewhat interrupted the flow ... But it was great fun!
