This month's Roy G Biv II challenge (for explanation see below!) had me searching my archives.
The colour for photos is orange, in all its tints and shades. This is not a common colour choice in large quantities for me. Mostly, I just drop it in as a small accent to add spice to my work. Surprisingly, though, this has been a fruitful(!) search and has set me thinking.

In case you haven't come across this Roy character before - and I must admit I hadn't met him until a random blog search found him just after Christmas -
Julie B. Booth's blog will reveal all - with the latest photographs posted from tomorrow Thursday 21 March. I have enjoyed joining in and it has made me reconsider the colours I use and those I have around me. There was not much orange to be found easily at home. Next time, I will photograph - and look - more widely for colour inspiration.
Lovely orange!! I don't know if I will have time to look for orange for tomorrow, but you have inspired me too look even if I don't have time to post it!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kim - I actually posted a day early due to operator error on my mouse... But I don't think it matters ........!
DeleteIt's a fun challenge this and it make me look a colour in a different way.
What fun! Can't wait to see what other oranges you post tomorrow. Glad to have you join in the search for Roy!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jennifer - I may find one or two more tomorrow - or maybe not... today's publishing was accidental and a result of my wish to get ahead of myself!
DeleteWonderful oranges! Had to go to my archives as well this month...just too much going on to get out the camera. Hoping to get ahead for next month searching for yellow when I'm down in Savannah, Georgia visiting my folks. Thanks so much for joining in.
ReplyDeleteThanks Julie. It was fun searching. Will post again later (it being the right day today!) if I have time.
Deletemy theme is just to find time to get some pieces finished.Love the oraneg theme..warms up a cold winter.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting and posting, Cas. I know what you mean about finishing work though my current problem is where to start on the next project .... too many ideas, too little focus ......
