Working with mixed media stitched textiles gives me great pleasure.
As well as the joy in the art of making and exploring, there are the friendships formed as work grows.
It just so happens that there was a post about using Photoshop Elements for surface design in this week's Quilting Daily! They are selling a product I haven't tried, but maybe you would find it helpful. There are some free downloads on various topics as well: http://bit.ly/1eie9yf Have fun and I can't wait to see what you come up with!
How very exciting for you!! You will just love it! Check out Kim Klassen's blog and website (I believe it's kimklassen.com.) She has some wonderful classes and lots of fabulous information, lots of it free. What fun for you!!!
Very many thanks. When the new year begins and things calm down, I will investigate the link. My daughter has recommended a book also - if it's good for us textile lovers I will forward the link.

ReplyDeleteThank you Cindi - that's very kind of you. After New Year I will investigate both this week's Quilting Daily and the free downloads.
DeleteHappy New Year!
Enjoy using your new toy. So many possibilities are ahead of you.
ReplyDeleteI wish you lots of fun and success - with minimal frustration!
ReplyDeleteThanks to you both. I suspect frustration is part of the deal but here's hoping it won't be insurmountable!
