Near Mount Cook, New Zealand's highest mountain yesterday The lakes are beautiful and extraordinary shades of blue fed by the glacial streams which carry fine silt.

Those boats were waiting to take us up to the base of the glacier ... and more photos, many more.
Love that area, we used to ski near there.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful. Where exactly did you ski? We saw no sign of lifts etc in the area and wondered where the ski area was.

ReplyDeleteNo kidding with the colours and the beauty of the landscape. It is truly wonderful and just as good as Australia! Now down in the south of the island near Dunedin and very different but just as beautiful.
